Friends Never Say Goodbye

By Laura Bohill | editorial | August 23, 2012

In a few weeks I will leave the nucleargraduate scheme with many memories, 7 new grey hairs that I pull out on a regular basis and thousands of photographs (thanks Pepi).

So as I once again attempt to plan my travels back for what I anticipate will be a very emotional final training zone, I can’t help but imagine myself as sloth from the goonies, crying in a dark corner, saying the words “you guys” over and over again not knowing what it is I actually want to say to anyone …..attractive I know but I’m a realist.

I'll wear a little more makeup though

I’ve had a fantastic two years, it’s not been easy and certainly isn’t everyone’s cup of tea but I wouldn’t change it for the world. This scheme has given me the chance to meet some fantastic people and I hope that as we go our separate ways our paths will continue to cross throughout the rest of our careers.

I think my feelings are best expressed through the words of Elton John, Friends Never Say Goodbye. A terrible song but my god that man has a way with words………

This is about as philosphical as I get
