I had a meeting with EMERGE last Friday to discuss what I would be able to get involved in. I’m going to progress the setting up of the business’ Environmental Management System to help the company reach ISO 14001 accreditation.
It looks like it will be an interesting bit of work - lots of opportunity to extend my technical knowledge and progress my professional development (including towards chartership) as well as exercise knowledge I’ve already gained in my work so far. It seems a really worthwhile project for me to get involved with - both from the SME’s point of view and also my own.
